Technology and creativity are joined in this innovative nine-hour class open to 7th-9th graders. You will learn basic weld concepts, practice hands-on welding and create an actual project to take home. All in all, you'll be equipped with basic knowledge and skills to begin the craft of welding. Instruction stresses safety so attendance at the safety orientation on the first day of class is mandatory. Students are required to wear a long sleeved cotton shirt, jeans, and closed toe shoes.
