Why are so many of us intimidated by making pie crust from scratch?  After all, it's just simple ingredients baked in the oven until golden and flakey, right?  Join us to learn the steps to mix, roll and bake the perfect, flaky crust every time. We'll also taste-tests crusts made with butter, lard and shortening so you can judge for yourself which you prefer. Once you make your pie crust, then you'll choose a fruit filling to take home and bake in it. Yum!  Tentative Menu: Three Homemade Pie Crusts, Fruit of choice to make your own 12-inch fall fruit pie to take home and bake!
