Small Business | Business Photography & Social Media Bootcamp

Are you a small business owner, entrepreneur or a brand enthusiast looking for a social media transformation? This bootcamp gives you the skills to dramatically improve and grow your social media.
After this class you will be able to :
  • Finding the best lighting, angles and basic phone/camera functions
Starting with lighting and angles, we’ll learn the ins and outs of the camera functions on our phones as well as DSLR cameras (if applicable based on student needs). Students will learn how to take a more professional looking selfie for about me posts as well as for a website, and should come dressed appropriately to do so in a way that matches their brand.
  • Building Backgrounds, Attention to Detail
This hands on course will leave attendees with the ability to take more professional looking product photos using common inexpensive items to create consistency in a brand and on social media regardless if it’s a tangible item to sell or a service. It will be encouraged that all participants bring along multiple items that best represent their business.
  • Building a Branding Session: Photograph a year of content in 2 hours
Create an outline of items, staff, events and other important details for an entire year’s worth of content and learn how to create it in 2 hours or less in a branding session.
  • Repurposing Photos | Cropping, Adding Text, Stories vs  Post
A perfect follow up to Building a Branding Session, this session will show how different cropping angles can allow for a completely new perspective on a product, and therefore less time taking photos and creating content, and more time with customers!
  • Time Saving Social Media Tips | Content Planning, Events, Scheduling, Storytelling & Simple Post
We’ll go through the benefits of scheduling posts and when it is best to post live. Then we’ll take a look at why storytelling is important, but how to ensure we still get to the point, allowing our customers to read the content, get the information they need to know and buy (without using the words “BUY NOW!”).
