The AAPC Medical Coding Training Course teaches the fundamentals of physician-based medical coding, preparing students for the CPC Exam. The course includes 80 hours of instruction by a certified AAPC instructor, covering CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding. It provides all required materials, including textbooks/e-books, AAPC student membership, a practice exam, the CPC Certification Exam, and the Practicode CPC-A Practicum.

Please read:  High school or equivalent required. Please note this is an intensive short-term career certificate designed for students to enter the workforce at a fast pace. All textbooks and course materials are included in the cost and will be provided. Materials will be shipped to the address that you provide for your profile. Students must complete the AAPC Medical Terminology (40 hours) and Anatomy (40 hours) online modules, available starting 7/6/2026, before beginning the coding portion on 8/3/26. Failure to pass these prerequisites will result in removal from the course without a refund. Successful course completion grants a CPC Certification Exam voucher.
