Driver Improvement Program (DIP)-Calmar

Please read:  Students required to enroll in the Driver Improvement Program (DIP) course receive a letter from the Iowa DOT. The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is authorized to suspend the driving privileges of anyone who is a habitual violator (Iowa Code Section 321.210 and DOT Administrative Rules Procedure 615.43) or commits a serious violation. Failure to respond to the letter or successfully complete the Driver Improvement course will result in suspension of your driver’s license. If you have a question on your driving record, please call Driver & Identification Services at 515-244-9124 or 515-244-8725. To register for DIP, call NICC at 563-562-3263 ext. 1340 or 1399 and pay by credit card or mail payment (check payable to NICC) along with the registration form included with your letter. Pre-paid registrations only, no walk-in or late arrivals will be admitted. Please bring a photo ID with you to class – a driver’s license will be sufficient
