Behind the Scenes: Habits of Successful Coaches

Successful coaches understand that building a great program involves much more than designing practices and coaching games. The daily habits developed behind the scenes—building positive relationships with administrators, planning ahead, communicating effectively, and utilizing social media to positively promote their program—lay the foundation for long-term success.  Participants will learn practical strategies for working collaboratively with school administration, conducting effective pre-season meetings, and establishing routines that build trust with athletes, parents, and the community.
