Continuing Education Credit
EMS Continuing Education:
A total of
16 EMS Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) will be available during the two-day conference. CEHs will be offered in
four-hour session blocks, with one four-hour morning session and one four-hour afternoon session each day.
100% attendance is required to receive credit for each four-hour session block. Partial attendance will not qualify for CEH credit. EMS CEH in-service numbers will be provided to attendees on the day of the conference.
Nursing Continuing Education:
A total of
16 nursing contact hours will be available through
Northeast Iowa Community College Business & Community Solutions during the two-day conference. Nursing contact hours will be awarded in
four-hour session blocks, with one four-hour morning session and one four-hour afternoon session each day.
100% attendance is required to receive the four contact hours associated with each session block. Partial attendance will not qualify for contact hour credit, and no partial credit will be awarded.
Nurses: Please note that, effective
June 4, 2025, changes to the Iowa Board of Nursing continuing education requirements took effect. Attendees are responsible for retaining all continuing education documentation provided at the conference and for verifying that the education completed meets the requirements applicable to their license renewal.
Licensees are responsible for selecting continuing education offerings that meet the appropriate subject matter requirements outlined in
Iowa Administrative Code 655, Chapter 5.2(3).
