CNA Testing - Knowledge (Dubuque)

The CNA knowledge exam is computer-based. Accommodations for any disabilities must be requested at the time of registration and a process must be followed. To be certified and placed on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry, students must achieve a minimum of 70% on BOTH the knowledge and skills competency exams. Candidates have up to three attempts in order to pass the exam. Candidates who fail to pass the exam within those attempts must re-take a 76-Hour CNA class  prior to further testing.

Notice

Please read:  This computerized exam is proctored at the Town Clock Center in downtown Dubuque. Students need to bring a current photo ID as well as recite their full social security number. Students must arrive 15 minutes prior to start time. If a student arrives late, they will not be able to test and no refund will be given. Any schedule changes will be communicated between NICC and the student.
