Whether you want to make metal art for a hobby or to sell, this 9-hour class will equip you with basic knowledge and skills to begin the craft. You will learn to cut out shapes, bend metal, produce quality welds and study various fabrication applications. And, of course, you will apply these techniques to create a piece of metal art! Instruction stresses safety so attendance at the safety orientation on the first day of class is mandatory. Students must wear long-sleeved cotton shirts and closed-toe shoes.
