Intro to Kayaking & Canoeing

Join Winneshiek County Conservation for an Introduction to Kayaking & Canoeing at Lake Meyer Park.  We will learn basic water safety, paddling techniques, and kayaking/canoeing skills. This class is designed with beginning paddlers in mind. Meet at the Lake Meyer Park Boat Ramp. Kayaks, paddles, and flotation devices will be provided. We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, a towel, a refillable water bottle, and an extra set of clothing. Open to ages 10 and older. Children ages 10-14 must have an adult register and participate with them.

Please read:  Please meet at the Lake Meyer Park Boat Ramp. Kayaks, paddles, and floatation devices will be provided by Winneshiek County Conservation.
