This class, based on American Heart Association guidelines, focuses on one-person adult, use of the automatic external defibrillator (AED), and choking. Students also learn emergency first aid procedures for use in the case of accidents or sudden illness. Certification is good for two years. Attendees must be City of Dubuque Employees.
