Mosaic is the art of creating images by arranging small pieces of colored glass, stone, ceramics or other mediums, onto a two-dimensional surface. Mosaic art can be created on many types of surfaces, such as tables, mirrors or even rocks. In this class you will use your own creative skills to piece together a stained-glass dragonfly, using an ordinary rock as your surface. When you have finished you will have a unique conversation piece that can be placed indoors or out.
