This course is designed for students enrolled in medical career pathways or employees in the healthcare industry. The training is based on the American Heart Association’s guidelines and includes adult, child and infant CPR, rescue breathing (with and without a mask), choking for all ages and the use of an automated external defibrillator. After registration, NICC will forward you a link to the online training which will include the cognitive written exam, and then you will contact the NICC training center coordinator to arrange for the BLS skill practice and testing. The nonrefundable registration fee includes the AHA online access, hands-on skill practice and testing and a course completion card.
