This course is designed for the lay public who have a general interest or may be required to have first aid certification. This OSHA-approved class teaches emergency first aid procedures for accidents or sudden illness, including adult treatment of cardiac arrest; first aid practices include bandaging, splinting, medical, environmental and traumatic emergencies. After registration, NICC will forward you a link to the online training, providing the cognitive components of the coursework, and you will then contact the NICC training center coordinator to arrange for the Heartsaver skill practice and testing. The nonrefundable registration fee includes the AHA online access, hands-on skill practice and testing and a course completion card.
