Class expectations
Meeting times - Saturday: 10-5; Sunday: 10-3
1. Attendance is required for both days. If they miss a portion, they will need to register for a future class and start the program again. This includes if you have technical issues that causes you to miss more than a few minutes of the class.
2. A computer, laptop or I-Pad is required to take this course remotely. A phone is not acceptable. The screen is too small to adequately participate.
3. A book is required to participate.
4. We must all be on time. If any student arrives late (after attendance has been taken), they have missed some of the program; therefore, students are not allowed in if they arrive late and will have to sign up for another weekend.
5. Taking zoom remotely requires that cameras remain on and you are visible to the instructor which helps verify attendance.
6. You must sit up during class (no lying down).
7. Included in attendance is being willing to participate in our small and large group discussions.
8. Sobriety in class is mandatory. While we do provide breaks, we are focused on participation, so students are welcome to eat/drink.
9. You agree to not use phones during class. Please, phones can only be used during breaks.
By participating you are agreeing to stay awake, pay attention, participate in class, do assignments, and be respectful. Anyone failing to follow these expectations will be asked to leave, typically after one warning.
