Mike Holt Enterprises, the nationally-recognized experts and trainers of all things electrical, is returning to Dubuque for two days of high-energy, interactive learning. According to Holt, the most essential safety rules for every electrical professional are those related to fire and electrical shock hazards. This course will review the changes made to the 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC). There will be a review of NEC code topics that can help ensure compliance, strengthen electrical training programs, and serve as a reference at regular safety meetings. This class will also devote time to grounding and bonding, one of the most important and least understood articles in the NEC. It is critical to understand the difference between grounding and bonding in order to correctly apply the provisions of Article 250. This class will satisfy the Iowa Electrical Examining Board minimum requirement of 18 continuing education hours for license renewal for electricians due to renew December 2025. Continuing education credit may also be available from other states.
