This two-hour class covers the National Electrical Code requirements for agricultural buildings, including: wiring methods permitted; enclosure and box rules; protection against dust, moisture, and corrosion; GFCI protection; motors and luminaires; supply to buildings from a distribution point; grounding and bonding; conductor sizing; disconnecting means; overcurrent protection; installation of distribution points; and the equipotential bonding plane. This session will be offered via the Zoom online platform so the student will need a computer with camera and microphone to attend. This class meets Iowa Electrical Examining Board (IEEB) for two hours of continuing education for the December 2025 renewal deadline.In accordance with the IEEB, all specified hours of a class must be attended to receive any credit for the class, partial credit will not be awarded.
