« back to classes page
If you took the Level 1 class, or if you are comfortable with basic skills – turning the computer on, using the mouse, knowing how to get to the internet, etc. – we are ready to introduce you to the Microsoft Office (MS) software used by about 90% of business and personal computer users.  We’ll lead you through the creation of a document in MS Word where you can experiment with editing, creating columns and tables and making flyers and labels.  Maybe this is the year you put your holiday card list into a document and print address labels instead of hand-addressing them!  Then we’ll teach you how to use basic MS Excel functions to make spreadsheets that will come in handy to  keep track of a budget or manage a list of organization members.  Finally, we’ll continue on with the internet and email as well.
