The first day of this Hybrid 75-Hour Certified Nurse Aide class is MANDATORY ORIENTATION via Zoom on June 22nd (10-11am, 1-2pm and/or 4-5pm). Students who do not attend a Mandatory Orientation are not allowed to begin the class.
BREAKDOWN: 30 hours of didactic (lecture) online over the first 4 weeks with 15 hours (lab) face-to-face. Labs are approx. 5 hours long. 5 hours of (modified clinical) face-to-face and 2 weeks online (modified clinical) make-up the hours for the Hybrid class that is spread over approximately 6 weeks. This class pace is moderate to accelerated as there are no make-up dates or extensions. Students are responsible for weekly deadlines and attendance requirements in order to be successful. The online part of the class is not scheduled at specific times (students may log-in any day/time during the class).
Books and Criminal Background Check are included in the class fees. TB tests are not required at this time.
ATTENDANCE: 100% attendance is required in this course. Per state regulations, students must attend a minimum of 75 total hours of class (not including scheduled breaks) in order to pass and receive a certificate of completion. If students do not formally withdraw from the class, they will receive an “F” for the class. In addition, a GPA of 78% or above is required to pass and receive the certificate of completion. Instructors will not make-up time with students - no exceptions.
