Please read:
MANDATORY ORIENTATION: Tuesday, June 27th at 12:00 pm at NICC (Max Clark Hall)
BOOKS: Included in the class fees and provided at orientation
ATTENDANCE: Per state regulations, students must attend 76 total hours (not including scheduled breaks) in order to receive a certificate of completion. Instructors will not make-up time with students if a student is absent.
COMPLIANCE: Students must complete a background check (at orientation) and submit required paperwork by the first day of Lab: TB Test, Flu vaccine (during flu season) and COVID-19 vaccines. For questions, contact the Compliance Coordinator by calling 844-642-2338, ext. 2346 or email whited@nicc.edu
CLINICAL: Students are eligible to attend clinical by passing the background check, completing compliance requirements and successfully passing Lab. Schedule will be provided at orientation. For questions, contact the CNA Coordinator by calling 844-642-2338, ext. 6905 or email bcs-health@nicc.edu
COMPLETION: Proof of completion certificate will be provided for successful completion. Students must achieve a 78% GPA or higher and 100% attendance of the 76-hours of training in lecture, lab and clinical. If a student is unsuccessful or does not formally withdraw or cancel from the class, the final grade given will be an F and no certificate is awarded.
REFUND: Students may receive a refund if they cancel from the class 5 business days before mandatory orientation.
