CourseGraphic ServSafe ® Food Protection Manager is the food safety certification course developed for restaurants and foodservice managers.  Iowa regulations require the person in charge of a foodservice to have demonstrated knowledge of food safety principles, including prevention of foodborne illness and general practices to improve food quality. The class, book and Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) exam are inclusive in the cost of registration.

Notice

Please read:  This is a Virtual Live ServSafe Training at our NICC Student Center Room 109 1625 Highway 150 S Calmar, IA. Our trainer will be broadcasted in a Classroom Setting. ServSafe Testing 3 - 5pm NICC Library Student Test Center This includes the course book, class, and exam administration. Participants must bring along a photo ID to the scheduled test date. A 30 Minute Time Frame will be given for Students to go on their own lunch. This course will conclude with a Certified, ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Examination, National Restaurant Association. Those who score 75% or higher on the exam will be ServSafe® Certified for 5 years by the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NRAEF). Please Note | Certificates will not be supplied the day of class as they will need to be submitted and will directly be sent to you from ServSafe®. Re-take test: Those who did not pass the test and need to re-take the exam will be assessed $50. ServSafe Books can be picked up only 2 Weeks prior to class. It is the duty of the attendee to return to class with book which includes within the Answer Sheet ©2018 National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (National Restaurant Association).
