This is designed for lay public who have a general interest or certification requirement. The OSHA-approved course teaches emergency first aid procedures involving pediatric accidents or sudden illness. This includes cardiac arrest, AED and first aid practices, splinting, medical, environmental and traumatic emergencies. After registration, NICC will forward you the link to the online training, providing the cognitive components of the coursework. You will then contact the NICC training center coordinator to arrange for the Heartsaver skill practice and testing. The nonrefundable registration fee includes the AHA online access, hands-on skill practice and testing and a course completion card.
