This intensive American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC) Medical Coding Training Course will teach the students the fundamentals of medical coding skills for physician-based coding and prepares the student to take AAPC’s CPC Exam. The course covers CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding as they apply to these healthcare settings. A minimum of 80 hours of coding instruction will be provided by a certified AAPC instructor. All textbooks/e-books, an AAPC student membership, practice exam, CPC Certification Exam, and a Practicode CPC-A Practicum are included in this course.
As a prerequisite to participate in the coding instruction in the course, all students will be given access to the AAPC Medical Terminology (40-hours) & AAPC Anatomy (40-hours) online modules on 1/13/2025. Both online modules must successfully be completed prior to starting the coding portion of the course that begins on 02/10/2025. If the student does not pass both online modules by this time, they will be dropped from the course without a refund.
The AAPC CPC Certification Exam voucher will be given to the student who has successfully passed the course.
