Coaching Authorization - Dubuque

This 55-hour class fulfills the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (BOEE) requirements to apply for a coaching license, which is required to be legally employed as a coach of any interscholastic athletic activity in Iowa K-12 schools.  Topics addressed in this hybrid-format* class include coaching theory, ethics and legal responsibilities, human growth and development, structure and function of the human body, prevention and care of injuries and CPR certification.   *Hybrid classes include face-to-face and online components of instruction and assignments.
